NHRA Member Track Programs:
National DRAGSTER Challenge

Order by Date

Since 2002, National DRAGSTER, the weekly publication of the National Hot Rod Association, has presented its popular National DRAGSTER Challenge for E.T. bracket racers at NHRA member tracks. The winner of each event is rewarded with a special-edition pewter Wally trophy, the most coveted prize in drag racing.

When member tracks report their National DRAGSTER Challenge results, their coverage and photos appear with logo identification in ND's Member Track News section. An updated event calendar appears regularly for easy reference.

Member tracks receive everything needed to stage the event, such as banners, participant decals, advertising and publicity material, and winners' hats and trophies.

"Many grassroots drag racers at the local level are unaware of the benefits of NHRA membership," said Adriane Ridder, NHRA vice president-publications. "The goal of the National DRAGSTER Challenge is to bring attention to those benefits, such as the award-winning drag racing news, features, and photography in National DRAGSTER; the Be a Winner, Be a Member prize incentive program; and the $485,000 excess medical insurance coverage, to name a few. We also want to reward the weekend warriors who support our NHRA member tracks with the opportunity to compete for a Wally."

See National DRAGSTER for a schedule of upcoming ND Challenge events, or ask your NHRA track operator when the ND Challenge is coming your way.

*Jr. Drag Racing League competitors are not eligible to compete in this program.
