Treadwell left early with a red light while Rampy recorded a .002-second reaction time, running his '32 roadster out to a 7.412 second pass at 178.80 mph for the win.

Hoover, the lone home state winner from Adamsville, Tenn., captured his first NHRA win running 10.257 seconds on his 10.25 dial in Super Stock over Joe Tysinger, Wrightsville Beach, N.C.
