SPOKANE, Wash. In the final results from Spokane County Raceway and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, it was a family affair with Eddy Plaizier taking his third win in a row in Super Gas and his son Casey Plaizier, who took the win here last year in Stock, followed up with another win in Super Street.

Eddy Plaizier, out of Edmonton, Alb., worked his way through the field and ran 10.095 seconds at 155.33 mph in his '63 Corvette to take the final round victory over Curtis Geise, Auburn, Wash., who clocked in at 10.089 seconds, 162.80 mph in his '02 Trans AM. Plaizier and Geise were both off the line at identical times but it was Plaizier that was closer to the index to take the final round win.

Casey Plaizier, followed in his father's footsteps with back to back wins here in Spokane. Casey, Edmonton, Alb., in his '56 Chevy made a final round pass of 11.069 seconds at 126.35 mph, and defeated Brett Oglesbee, Spokane, Wash., with a pass of 11.060 seconds at 122.23 mph. Casey scored his first ever Super Street win and will also be the Northwest Division Stock Eliminator representative for the JEGS Allstars team, which will be held in June in Chicago.

Brad Burton, Snohomish, Wash., took the win over Dave Jung, Surrey, B.C., in Stock. Burton, a former World Champ, with a pass of 10.930 seconds at 115.60 mph, defeated Jung with a pass of 12.497 seconds at 98.98 mph. With this win, Burton now has a total of five Northwest Division career wins.
